What can we do with life? The answer is simple: bond with life.
Then the next question comes: don’t we bond with life? This time the answer is even simpler: we never bond with life.
Why?
We don’t know what is bonding. Doing things at the bidding of others is what we know as bonding! It’s quite funny, isn’t it?
Fun is the name of life. To understand life, we need to know what fun is.
Vacationing in exotic places of the country or abroad is definitely fun. Watching an exciting cricket or football match obviously is a fun. Dining out in a plush restaurant over lip-smacking dishes is fun indeed.
But they are all momentary,fleeting.
Just open a window and sit close by. Today we have the first pre-monsoon rain. Watch it. If possible, extend your hands to reach out to rain drops. The cold water will soothe taut nerves.
Next morning, take a walk on a long stretch of wet grass; Look up, at the same time,at the disc of sun that is getting brushed by passing clouds. Look down at the rain drop on the grass blade. The sun rays get reflected off the drop. Take in the emerald that is taking shape.
Everything about nature is magical. Touch it, feel it and look at the world around. How nice it feels.
After all, it is we who make the world. The world in itself is somewhat static, unfeeling.
Looking at sun rise and sun set everyday without fail is what creates a bond with life; a bond that is unconditional; and so, independent.
